In may of every year ames ffa hosts a banquet to end the year and celebrate all that the chapters members have accomplished. At the 2022 banquet the iowa pork producers association provided and cooked pork tenderloin for all attendees.  Members were awarded their greenhand, chapter, and iowa degrees. 

In Decemebr the ames ffa chapter recieved porkloins from the jeff and deb hansen foundation that were divided up into single servings and then packaged up with other items to create meals for familys of 4, in total 400 servings were made and donated to the Mica foundation.

For national FFA the ames high ffa chapter made a hot breakfast for the staff and teachers at ames high school. Members arrived bright and early to start cooking. Members made pancakes, eggs, sausage, and prepared fruit.  This is the 2nd year we have held this event.

Every month the ames ffa Chapter holds a chapter meeting to discuss new and old business, serve our community, and to get together and have fun. 

In may the ames ffa chapter plants flowers in front of the welcome ffa sign, The chapter has been doing this for several years.
